But as more reports of Chinese spying surface, it becomes obvious that there’s a major espionage effort underway, with particular emphasis on North American.

Former President Corazon Aquino has no idea who wants to eavesdrop on her conversations.

The military says it didnt plant the electronic device but that it was going to be blamed just the same.

Malacaang refuses to get involved into another wiretapping controversy.

It was up to the police, therefore, to determine who planted the bug that was found near the house of Mrs. Aquino in Quezon City on Wednesday. The device was made up of a tape recorder wired to a phone lines in a phone-box (PBX) at the corner of West Triangle and West 6th Street, about 100 meters from the house of the former president on Times St.
