Still in the dark, Congress shouldn’t approve wiretaps
that will lead to improper domestic eavesdropping

Lawmakers already know far too little about White House efforts to eavesdrop on Americans and examine their personal lives. The latest administration proposal includes language that could make it even more difficult for members of Congress — and the public — to monitor government surveillance in the United States.
